The Reggio Emilia Approach

At Inspire, we believe that we are more than just an early learning school. We aim to promote every child’s unique individuality and capacity for complex thinking. Our Reggio Emilia inspired approach encourages the development of each child’s strengths, interests and distinct forms of self-expression.

Our educational resources

The Australian Curriculum sets consistent national standards to improve learning outcomes for all young children.

The Australian Curriculum builds on early learning

Australia's early childhood provision is governed by the Early Years Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), covering birth to age 5 and the Australian Curriculum from the first year of full-time schooling.

Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) is the nationally approved learning framework for children aged 0 – 5 years. It is part of the National Quality Framework.

The EYLF includes Vision, Principles, Practices and Learning Outcomes that support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

The Learning Outcomes recognised that children:

Are effective communicators

Have a strong sense of identity

Have a strong sense of wellbeing

Are confident and involved learners

Are connected with and contribute to their word
