The environment as the ‘third teacher’
The principles of Reggio Emilia acknowledge the important of the environment in providing a space for learning, teaching, living, being and crating. This is why learning at our school takes place in the classroom as well as the outdoor area.
Our school adheres to the Australian’s National Quality Standard which require the physical environment to be safe, suitable and be able to provide a rich and diverse range of experiences that promote children’s learning and development. We maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, ensuring that all equipment and materials are age-appropriate, and regularly inspected.
Our Program
